INTENSIVE MEAL SUPPORT FOR TEENS

INTENSIVE MEAL SUPPORT FOR TEENS

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

  • A personalized approach to healing within a group setting
  • 6 week program that meets Mondays from 5:30pm – 7:30pm.
  • Allows religious Jewish girls who are Shabbos observant to recover within a culturally appropriate setting.
  • Small intimate group setting.
  • Addresses food related issues in a nonjudgmental environment
  • Weekly meal support, (Supper for evening program provided by local kosher restaurants)
  • One Family Included Treatment (FIT) session.
  • One Hour Session with Registered Dietitian prior to program start date
  • Weekly nutritional counseling and goal setting
  • Group discussions focused on developing skills for appropriate Metabolic Stability, the Importance of Fueling the Brain and Body, Eating in School and Home, Building Confidence with triggering or fearful foods, Body Image and Shame, Eating Mindfully, and Relapse Prevention.
  • Experiential Therapy Programs including Art Therapy, Relaxation Techniques, Drama Therapy, Yoga conducted by leading professionals in their field.
  • Continual collaboration with Program Team Members and other Healthcare Practitioners
  • Additional “add on” treatments such as private meal support and nutritional therapy sessions

  • 6 week program that meets Wednesdays from 6:30pm – 8:30pm.
  • Allows religious Jewish women to recover within a culturally appropriate setting. 
  • Small intimate group setting.
  • Addresses food related issues in a nonjudgmental environment
  • Weekly meal support, (Supper for evening program provided by local kosher restaurants)
  • One Hour Session with Registered Dietitian prior to program start date
  • Weekly nutritional counseling and goal setting
